The Landesgartenschau 2007 took place in the Upper Austrian town of Vöcklabruck. Besides the regular programme, classical music played an important role.
HOLZMANN ARTS was requested to organize four concerts: one open-air concert and three chamber-music concerts. The open-air concert was performed by the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg featuring two soloists from the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Gerald Pachinger, principal clarinet of the Vienna Symphony played Mozart’s clarinet-concerto and his colleague Ivan Kitanovic, principal double-bass, performed the “Capriccio di bravura“ by G. Bottesini.
The three chamber-music concerts were played by musicians of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Included in the programme were the clarinet-trio by Johannes Brahms and the ‘Trout’ by Franz Schubert, amongst others.
The open air concert was recorded, so please have a listen.
