HOLZMANN ARTS was founded in 2002. From the very beginning the projects were out of the ordinary: for example, a series of concerts performing the Brahms double concerto and the WIENER SALONIKER tour throughout Turkey, including south-east Anatolia, rarely on the usual orchestra tour trail.

Again in 2003 and 2004 came diverse tours for various ensembles to Turkey, to Portugal and to the Far East - Indonesia to be precise. And, most importantly, a project with the highly renowned Austrian cellist, Heinrich Schiff, playing Bach.

In 2005 and 2006 different ensembles toured round Poland, South America and Cyprus. And there also were concerts for SIEMENS.

However it has to be said that 2007 was the most successful year for HOLZMANN ARTS to date. By March the ensemble “Cello a tre“ had travelled to Egypt and to Turkey. In June the WIENER SALONIKER performed in Italy and in Germany. Also in June the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg performed in Vöcklabruck as part of the Landesgartenschau 07. In August there were further chamber music concerts there, and in October and in December the TRIO IMPOSSIBILE toured throughout South America and the Middle East.
